The Deputy Chief of Police, Francesco Prencipe, leaves his house to meet his best friend, the judge Giovanni Mastropaolo; he hasn’t seen him in almost two years. A two-hours’ drive for a short conversation. One question. One answer. That morning, the judge is found shot dead in the head.
